Living the Lagos Weekend!


Hello everyone. It's another fabulous weekend! Hope you've been living Lagos this week if not you should live it to the fullest by the weekend. I am here to make sure you definitely help you with that.
There's quite a lot happening this weekend although but be careful because the LG elections are holding on Saturday so there's restriction to movement in Lagos till 3 pm on Saturday. Don't worry you can get your groove on by the weekend. By the way Sao and the Muse was all shades of awesomeness check out pictures here soon.
Here are events to look out for this weekend.

Friday 21st 


THE BASEMENT GIG AT CIELO LOUNGE
 
The basement gig is a monthly event for emerging artistes. Hosted by Kemi Smallz at Cielo Lounge, Ikeja GRA. The Summer edition will include artistes Wavy the creator, Hanujay, Jinmi Abduls,. Twist da fireman, Yonda and others. Show starts at 6pm and is open to all.

Saturday 22nd 
WET AND WILD AT CRESCENDO

Jack Daniel's and REmy martin is treating you to a Wet and wild summer tropical pool party at Crescendo Lounge, 38, Oduduwa way, Ikeja GRA. Performances by Burna Boy, Niniola,Dj Lambo! 1pm till late. Entry is free! But be ready to buy drinks.  


NO MORE LIES STAGE PLAY 

No More Lies is a gospel psychological thriller stage play, an adaptation of Tyrone Terence's Private Lies.This play examines the issues of Love, Hate, redemption, marriage. The play Will be staged at the Agip Hall of Muson centre, Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd. Tickets are 3k each. 
MI SETONU/ HEAR WORD 
The iOpen Eye productions presents another representation of Hear word, this timer to be acted by and for  the people of the Makoko community at the Sogunro Water front in Makoko community, Lagos. Starts at 6pm!
SUMMER SEVENTEEN SATURDAY 
THE SWAMP DWELLERS
Soyinka season at The Park Theatre ends this weekend! Don't miss this stage play as interpreted by Crown Troupe of Africa at Freedom Park, Lagos island. Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd. Tickets at 2k only! Don't miss it!



Sunday 23rd 


THE OXYMORON OF KENNY BLAQ
Kenny Blaq is unarguably one of the fastest rising comedians in the country. He makes his debut show this Sunday at Eko Hotel and suites. Supported on stage by Ali Baba, Klint da drunk, Seyi Law, Emma Oh Ma God, Tubaba and several others. I trust Kenny Blaq not to disappoint!
Show starts at 7pm. Tickets from 5000

CORNUCOPIA MAYA COLLECTION UNVEILING 
Cornucopia unveils its new collection of Jewelry 'The Maya Collection' at their srtore, GreenVille mall, Isaac John street, ikeja. Startsv from 12 till 7pm.
BANANA ISLAND GHOST MOVIE PREMIERE
The anticipation ios high! If you saw the trailer of Banana Island Ghost aka BIG you'd understand why we are soo psyched about this movie premiere. I will be there! its a big premiere and strictly by invitation.
