Live Lagos: Spooky and Fab Weekend!

Hey guys, So someone just asked if we are not turning up this weekend, guess what our reply was, Every day is turn up in Lagos! Yup! never forget that!

It is officially Lagos Fashion and Design Week which kicked off on Wednesday of course, click here to see our stories on Instagram. 

We have been having a swell time at the event. Street style, fashion business series, Lots of Heineken, Food, and of course the very glamorous Runway and Frow! Can you ever get enough?  We are guessing the four days is just enough to soak in all the awesomeness of the event.

This weekend is both spooky and Fab because its Halloween and fashion Weekend, there are several Halloween themed party but our fav is the Afroween party at Barbar which we absolutely cannot wait for. We are also anticipating Rocktoberfest, the annual rock party in Lagos.

Celebrate Halloween at FOMO LAgos Friday Night series. COme in your best costume and party the night away. Venue is Vellvett Lounge, Idejo, off Adeola Odeku, Victoria Island. Starts from 9pm till late.

TELON NIGHTS PRESENTS “BLOODY BURLESQUE SHOW” HALLOWEEN SPECIAL.

A raw and uncut display of pure vain ecstasy through the art of Burlesque will take place this weekend.

Yup! We are so ready for another weekend. Last weekend was superb! Like what?????? Felabration at the New Afrika Shrine was super lit! with Performances from various artistes and The Glenfiddich Mavericks felabration concert capped it! Seun gave an outstanding show! Femi Kuti brought down the house! It was truly a night of Mavericks. We celebrated the legend Fela Anikulapo Kuti in grand style and all of the shenanigans was up on our stories. If you are not catching up with us on the instagram you are really missing out on a whole lot!

Live Lagos: Remembering Fela This Weekend

Hello Friday! 

We are so excited to have the weekend with us again! This week has been awesome! Why? Because it's Felabration season. We are celebrating the Legend Abami Eda All week Long. There has been series of performances at the Shrine everyday of the week. And all over Lagos we have been vibing to a lot of Afrobeat and of course afro inspired events. Now is time to really get our groove on most especially at the Glenfiddich Mavericcks Felabration night. There would be performances from Femi Kuti, Seun Kuti, Nneka, Bez and more!

It's another weekend Lagos! 

We are still trying to recover from the Independence weekend shenanigans! It was super lit! From Jameson connects to CREME with Jimmy Sax then Johnny Walker Independence celebration at The Backyard and finally MAIN Supremacy Concert with the biggest stars. We had a short week which still felt quite long. *sighs* 

We go 'chill mode' this weekend.

EUPHORIA DAY POOL PARTY stands out because its a much more chilled vibe than typical Lagos event. The venue, the volume of the music and the relaxed dress code set the tone for a more casual and fun event not the typical "posing" Lagos events we are used to.

TIP: NO HEELS policy and guests are encouraged to wear swimwear, shorts, t-shirts, summer dresses and slippers.
